Problems with Existing Knee Braces

Existing Elatic/Compression knee braces, that allow full athletic performance, expand with the bend/twist rotation of the upper leg in relation to the lower leg at the knee joint. Athletic trainers recognize these least restrictive (on athletic performance) elastic compression knee brace devices are very ineffective in prevention of knee injuries.


Existing knee braces that are more restrictive, and/or have solid parts (i.e. steel or other), limit athletic performance to a degree that use is limited. These other devices are so complicated, or are so restrictive on athletic performance, they have very limited or specialized use.


Existing Elatic/Compression knee braces do not meet the optimum goals of effective support, and easy installation, with minimal restrictions on users allowing full day-to-day activities, work, or athletic performance. Current braces are either simple & easily used with low effectiveness, OR are complicated & more restrictive to provide more effectiveness. Thus neither provides the most effective support and still allows full access to everyday activities, work, or athletic performance.



Benefits of the Spiral Torque™ Technology

The Spiral Torque™ knee brace prevents the twisting, or rotation, of one end of the knee brace in relation to the other end.


The Spiral Torque™ knee brace is a significant improvement over currently existing braces. Our knee brace adds the effect of tension in spiral cords (rotated in opposing directions) to the compression of existing elastic knee braces making them more effective without the added bulk of rigid supports.


The Spiral Torque™ brace is made of a light weight breathable layered fabric with no hard, or restrictive, materials that would limit athletic performance.
